Who can Join?
Anyone is welcome to join! Although we are sponsored by the Terry College of Business, SHRM is open to all students enrolled in both undergraduate and graduate programs!
What is required to Join?
All we ask is that our members become national shrm student members, which can be done on the official shrm website here. The Membership costs $49, and lasts for an entire year. Once you have become a national shrm student member, send a screenshot of your membership confirmation to shrm.uga@gmail.com!
What is included with Membership?
Access to all of our meetings, social events, and networking opportunities as well as all of the benefits of student shrm membership. For a full list of resources provided for national shrm members visit https://www.shrm.org
Are there dues?
Our chapter does not have dues. Our only "dues" is that you become a national shrm member for $49/year (completely worth it!)
When/Where are meetings?
For spring 2022, all of our meetings will take place on tuesdays at 5:30pm via Zoom beginning on February 8th. For zoom details, email us or join our groupme!
Are there leadership positions available?
Yes! our chapter has 7 leadership positions available including president, vice president, director of programming, director of student relations, director of community service, treasurer and secretary. we hold elections at the end of every semester.
